An Assistant Professor at Acadia University since 2001,
Dr. Callaghan’s teaching and research interests
include business strategy, corporate social responsibility,
ethics and sustainability. She is currently working
on several projects, including: understanding the potential
for duplicity in organizations, examination of corporate
development of First Nations Membertou Community, and
understanding of perceptions of sustainability and environmental
risks. She also is an active board member of The Center
for Rural Sustainability. Dr. Callaghan holds a Doctor
of Business Administration (Management policy and Strategy)
from Boston University, a Masters of Arts (Urban and
Environmental Policy) from Tufts University, and a Bachelor
of Arts (Economics and Political Science) from Bennington
College.
