Maurice Tugwell is married, and has two children. His education includes: B. Sc., Honours Mathematics, Mount Allison University, M. Sc., Mathematics (Operations Research), Ph.D., Economics, Queen’s University.

• Assistant Dean of Arts, Acadia University, 1999 - present
• Acting V P (Academic) and Provost, Acadia University, 1995-97
• Professor of Economics. Courses taught in regular sessions, Spring and Summer, by correspondence, by audio teleconferencing;
• Occasional courses taught in School of Business, Acadia; Mount Allison; UPEI; Saint Mary’s Executive MBA.
