Peter Irniq, Commissioner of Nunavut unveiled an Inuksuk
at Acadia's University Hall lawn. The unveiling was
accompanied by a traditional Inuit drum dance and
singing by an Inuit elder.
Particpants were treated
to dinner overlooking Blomidon from 'The Point' in Hanstport.
The property is owned by Sir Graham Day, and dinner
was hosted by Dr. Tom Ellis, Dean of Research and Graduate
studies at Acadia University.
