The goal of this assignment is to create a Web Site using Frames and the skills you have learned in this chapter to list some Important Information about yourself.
Each person should:
#1a) Create a page that contains:
Your Name
Your Student Number
The Course Number
The Date
b) Center the information above and increase the
heading size to at least 2.
c) Set the background of this page to an image that
you select.
d) Place an image on this page that is a link to
send an e-mail to your e-mail address.
#2) Create a page that contains a brief paragraph about your self.
#3) Create a page that contains a table that corresponds to your class Time Table.
#4a) Create a page that contains an unordered grocery list.
b) Underline the most important items that you need
to get.
#5a) Create a page that will display 3 frames. Following the example
above.
b) The title of the page should include your name.
c) Place your Name as the logo in the first frame.
d) On the left most frame, Include the links
Contact Info, History, Time Table, Grocery List.
e) when this page opens it should show the Contact
Info page.

(2) Your name and student number
(3) The URL where Assignment #1 can be found
Setting up a web directory:
You can use axe.acadiau.ca to create your own web directory. For example,
if your login ID is 012345t (the first part of your email address):
Marking Scheme:
The marking of this assignement will focus on meeting the information requirements, the fact that all components work and work together (section 5) and a small amount for creativity exercised by the student. Please note that since this is a technology course in science school, the emphasis is on meeting the technological requirements and not so much artistic talent or business acumen. This having been said, all other things being equal the more appealing and professional page
should be considered the better solution. The following points will be awarded:
- 0(poor), 1 (average) or 2 (well done) points for each section 1 through 4 of the assignment - based on the student providing the
information as requested and in the format requested.
- 0(poor), 1 (average) or 2 (well done) points for how well the system works together in section 5.
- 0 (minimal), 1 (average), 2 (above average) points for overall effort/creativity
Maximum score is 2+2+2+2+2+2 = 12
