SAD Presentations Choose one deliverable of the first 3 Milestone activities on systems analysis. Here are the ground-rules and notes for best marks: 1. Each team will have a maximum of 5 minutes. So time your delivery when you practise. 2. Check the home page to make sure you have the correct team number ... we will go in order. 3. Email me your presentations in powerpoint form by 10am on the day of the presentation, so that I will have it on my laptop - ready for you. Subject line of the email should read: "3513 Team X Presentation" Any other method (such as diskettes) will reduce your presentation time down from 5 minutes. 4. Follow this general outline: - Tell everyone who you are and why you are here (1 slide - title) - Tell them what your going to tell them and why they should listen (same slide - agenda) - Tell them (1 or 2 slides on deliverable). - Tell them what you told them (1 slide - summarize key points). 5. Don't read off the slide any more than necessary. Face the audience and not the slide. Speak clearly but efficiently as possible (people can generally listen more quickly than you can speak). Check to make sure you voice does not fade. 6. Practice. Practice. Practice! 7. There will likely be time for 1 or 2 questions from your peers. 8. You will be marked on both format and content of your presentation. .. DLS
