1. "Spot"
2. Basket
3. Blanket
4. Box

As you read and re-read this book, take time to explain the words that describe spatial realtionships such as under/over, in/out/ inside/outside, behind/in front of.

1. You can then place the toy Spot so that your child can describe where Spot is - for example, in the basket, under the basket....

2. You can hide Spot and let your child find him. When you play this game you should encourage your child to ask questions such as "Is he in the cupboard? Is he under the table?"
