Plane symmetry pg
pg consists of two parallel glide reflections.

Many of the works of M. C. Escher display this symmetry. They include:
- Study of Regular Division of the Plane with Birds, 1938*
- Study of Regular Division of the Plane with Human Figures, 1944
-
Study of Regular Division of the Plane with Horsemen , 1946*
- Symmetry Watercolor 76, 1949
- Symmetry Watercolor 78, 1950
- Study of Regular Division of the Plane with Birds, 1955*
- Symmetry Watercolor 98, 1955
- Symmetry Watercolor 107, 1960
- Symmetry Watercolor 116, 1963
In some of these works (marked *) the colors used change the symmetry involved to p1, a symmetry of two translations.
