Part F. CHARACTER GRAPHS
Minitab draws two types of graphs, high resolution graphics and character graphs

    (a) The command MTB > gstd will disable Minitab's high resolution graphics for the rest of the session and ensures that when commands are typed only character graphs will be drawn. This command need only be given once and it will remain in force for the rest of the session. However if you use the mouse [i.e. click: Graph > Character Graphs etc.] the gstd command is not necessary.

   (b) To undo the gstd command type MTB > gpro

The commands below illustrate some graphs which can be done on Minitab. If you type MTB > gstd at the beginning of this session, typed command will give a character graph. If you don't type MTB > gstd typed commands may give high resolution graphics or not work at all. Remember there is no need for the gstd command if you use the mouse and click Graph > Character Graphs etc.
