• John Wilson, Complete Works. [?4 vols.?] Edited by Gordon J. Callon. [Edition of the complete music of John Wilson (1595–1674). Wilson was certainly one of the most prolific English seventeenth-century composers of vocal music, rivalled only by Henry Lawes. His works include at least 256 solo songs and dialogues (226 in Ob MS Mus. b. 1), more than 72 part songs (of which six or more are arrangements of other composers’ songs; 44 arrangements of his own solo songs), one catch, and at least 31 sacred works. This will include a complete edition of the manuscript Ob MS Mus. b. 1 (204 folios), and of the publication, Cheerfull Ayres or Ballads First composed for one single Voice and since set for three Voices by John Wilson…(Oxford: Printed by W. Hall, for Ric. Davis…, 1660), as well as all works from other more scattered sources.]
• John Jenkins, Collected Vocal Music. Edited by Gordon J. Callon. [Edition of the complete vocal music of John Jenkins (1592–1678). Jenkins’s vocal music consists of at least nine solo songs, dialogues, and part songs, two catches, and at least nineteen sacred works.]
