Exercise 1

REGULAR and IRREGULAR verbs in the Passé composé

Fill in the blanks with the Passé composé:

Remember that when you are dealing with negative sentences, "Pas", "Rien", and "Jamais" go between the auxiliary verb and the past participle. Don't forget to include the "Ne" or "N'" before the auxiliary verb. The same applies to most adverbs such as "Beaucoup", "Bien", "Déjà", "Souvent" etc.

Remember, do not leave any spaces when entering your answer.

When you are finished, click on the "get score" box to check your answers.

Now that you have practised regular and irregular verbs in the passé composé proceed to verbs with avoir.
