Exercise 8

Before beginning the following exercises make sure your keyboard is set to french, it may default back to english after each exercise. Read the text and fill in the blanks with either the passé composé or imparfait tenses of verbs or expressions in brackets. The story is about Bart and his friend. Remember that "pas," "jamais," and "vite"... go between the auxiliary and the past participle. Do not write personal pronouns such as "m'" or "j'", except for reflexive pronouns.

This text contains a variety of verbs. Be on the alert! Before doing this exercise, you may want to review the rules that govern the Use of passé composé and imparfait. The quizzes are all part of the same story, however they have been broken down into sections to allow for a more precise self-evaluation. Make sure you don't leave any unnecessary characters in your answer, including spaces or periods.To begin the next section make sure that you have closed the previous quizzes window.
